John V. Rickman, OD

Dr. Rickman is a 1984 graduate of Pacific University College of Optometry. Locally, he attended St. Mary's Grade School and Regis High School. He has practiced in the Stayton/Salem area since graduation and opened his office in Sublimity in 1995. He provides eyecare for the entire family, emphasizing contact lenses and pre and post care for LASIK and Cataract Surgery. Growing up in the area, he worked on farms, the cannery, farmers co-op, sawmill and was a volunteer firefighter. He also has played several sports, so he has first hand experience in the visual demands of several occupations and activities. He is a member of the American Optometric Association, Oregon Optometric Physicians Association and Willamette Optometric Physicians Association, Stayton Rotary, Knights of Columbus, and Santiam Golf Club.
